A Magnitude-7.7 earthquake has struck off the coast of Sestern Canada on Early Sunday Morning October 28, 2012 at 03:04:10 UTC. A tsunami warning has been issued for coastal British Columbia following a 7.7 earthquake. From the U.S. Geological Survey reported that, The quake was centred 123 miles (198 km) south-southwest of Prince Rupert at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km). There are no immediate reports of quake damage. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said there was the possibility of “widespread dangerous coastal flooding accompanied by powerful currents.”
