Actor Michael Clarke, 54-year-old, passed away this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, where he was being treated for a heart attack. The 6-foot-5, 300 pound actor was best known for his breakout role as John Coffey in The Green Mile, for which he nominated for Academy Award and a Golden Globe. He acted box office films such as "Armageddon," ''Planet of the Apes" and "Kung Fu Panda."

"The Oscar-nominated actor suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered," publicist Joy Fehily said in a statement. "Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date." The statement also, for the first time, described Reality TV personality Rev. Omarosa Manigault as Duncan's fiancee.
