On April 15, Two pressure cooker device bombs exploded at the Boston Marathon, killing 3 People and 183 others injured. The bombs had been placed near the finish line at Boylston Street west of Copley Square, Boston, Massachusetts. On April 18, The FBI has released photos of two suspects and also leaked a survialance camera video. According to the FBI, one of the men pictured was seen placing a backpack at the scene minutes before the second bomb exploded.



Update 1 (April 18): Boston Bombing Bomber identified two brothers, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnayev (He Shot Dead in MIT shooting occured on April 18) and 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnayev, as suspects. Chechens from the Russian Caucasus. Chechnya is an area of Russia plagued by Islamic insurgenc.



Update 2 (April 19): Suspect #2: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev at the time of the incident was a student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, with a major in marine biology. He was born in Kyrgyzstan. He became a naturalized U.S. citizen on September 11, 2012.On television, his uncle pleaded with Dzhokhar to turn himself in. He was found and taken into federal custody following a standoff in the evening of April 19.
